The Cory Society Annual General Meeting is held in London one weekend each June.  Members meet in the morning for Society business and elections followed by an address by the Chairman. We enjoy a buffet lunch and take the opportunity to socialise. After lunch we resume with a lecture on a family history topic finishing on the Sunday with an arranged tour.

The Aims of the Cory Society are to:

Inform our members of the accumulated knowledge of the history and genealogy of the Cory family, by books, newsletters etc;
S
timulate research, and to coordinate all research contributions;
S
tage meetings and reunions on an occasional and regular basis;
A
ffilliate with such bodies capable of assisting the Society;
P
rovide an advisory function to assist members with their research;
M
aintain data banks of the accumulated knowledge;
L
iaise with overseas societies and exchange delegates at conferences.

Membership:

We issue newsletters to members three times a year.  These include articles about various Cory ancestors and information to help with your research.   Contributions to the Newsletter are welcome from members and non-members alike and can be sent to our Editor (mgoffin@aol.com)

Throughout the year, the Society arranges trips for its members, to places with connections to the Cory family.  Previous trips have included Bramerton, Kettlestone and Caister St Edmunds in Norfolk, Cardiff, Launceston in Cornwall, Harpole in Northants and last year some of our members met up in Jersey. These annual gatherings and other arranged events are an excellent opportunity of getting to know fellow enthusiasts and perhaps to meet distant cousins that you never knew you had.

If you would like to join the Cory Society, membership is £12 (UK); $27(US); C$40 (Canada); A$40 (Australia) per year.   An application form for new membership or renewal (see left hand column) can be printed out and posted to our Treasurer, Dr William Cory. Family rates are available.

For information on joining or re-joining the Cory Family Society of America, contact Art Corey, E-mail: artcorey@webaccess.net.
